Entrance and stairwell Unilever Building
This appears to be about the only bit of the Art Deco interior that has been left intact. The building has undergone a major refurbishment . The beautiful Art Deco Details have been obliterated and in their place we have a glass and metal interior with a "feature" hanging " installation " in the atrium. This must have been a listed building................who fucked who to get permission to destroy the interior and did this to it (bellow)? Will we visit this interior in a hundred years time.........doubt it. Not a classic.
