Last day in Campania


Vesuvius at about 6 in the morning just before setting
out on the, every other day, 5 mile run around Sorrento.
It seemed important to do this one....the last day and
all that.



The Sorrento run.




...after the run....a walk down the hill to have a brilliant
coffee in the company of a Fiat 500.



................strange beast...can it really get
off the ground?



....while waiting for the flight....three sections of
an Air Bus fuselage arrived to get loaded on.



...very hippy sort of graphics.


.......and after peerless weather and skies in Italy for 14
days...........................guess what's underneath this lot.

What's with these folk who want to blow themselves up................for what..................these people must surely be desperately deeply malfunctioning narcissists? Psychosexual problems maybe...........maybe the first time they watched themselves wank was in a distorted mirror..........not a pretty sight...........but surely lads..... not something you have to kill yourselves and others for? Back fom Greece

Well, have just returned from Zakynthos or Zante. Apart from a couple of dull weather days ...one at the start and the other at the end.....and a hotel that smelt of dead dogs, babyshit and nicotine stained underwear.....it was a good place to be. We escaped the Kalamaki resort and hotel with a hired car...and with the good sense of Isolde we went down a track to look at a Villa on the beach.....a good ten kilometers from the rooms from hell and with a mountain range in between. What a good move. We met Soula, the widow of Ville Fiore, who was beautiful, charming and deserved the money we paid for the rooms....in fact even more...money that is. From then on it was a daily vist to Zycanthos Town....a wheel around the views...and every second day a 10K run. The food scene...whew.....some desperately bad mistakes....and some gems.
