The best little place to eat a thin crust Pizza in
Puerto de la Cruz. Forget the recommendations in the
"Rough Guide to Tenerife" they did not live up to
anything...........resembling tasty, good value or even
bland but filling.


It's in Calle San Juan.




Totally cool beaches. Black sand.

Lights along the front. The procession emerges out of the the dark having wound it's way down the hill at the back of the "village" Local Lads out on the town. The Fire works begin. Hanging around and fidgeting. The local Press get ready for St Anne to arrive. It's said that she is the Patron Saint of Sailors/Sea. The boys is red and blue seemed to be in control of the youngsters as the procession continued down to the beach after the fire works. St Anne appeared out of the dark. Devotees. St Anne looking resplendent carried by the men in black. The figure is carried into the church.
