Student Protests and riots. My heart goes out to those who wish to love learning. What they miss, to a large extent, are the colleges with their corrupted managements who fed off the the incompetence of the previous regime to deliver sound education.

Labour introduced us to "tick box, punitive paper work" education. Perfect for the miserable, unimaginative, education hating management of many of the colleges.

Lights along the front. The procession emerges out of the the dark having wound it's way down the hill at the back of the "village" Local Lads out on the town. The Fire works begin. Hanging around and fidgeting. The local Press get ready for St Anne to arrive. It's said that she is the Patron Saint of Sailors/Sea. The boys is red and blue seemed to be in control of the youngsters as the procession continued down to the beach after the fire works. St Anne appeared out of the dark. Devotees. St Anne looking resplendent carried by the men in black. The figure is carried into the church.
