...who would have thought in the 70's that many people would choose to
be crappy and do grotesque things to others in the 21st Century.

I didn't.

For me it felt as if people wanted to learn, be kind and not damage themselves or others...
to a large.. extent...I must say.... that has happened....what I didn't bargain for was that....those
who professed kindness and good deeds....elected/supported..... in the name of some
ideology......... monsters to govern and do the bad stuff for them. Convenient.

Lights along the front. The procession emerges out of the the dark having wound it's way down the hill at the back of the "village" Local Lads out on the town. The Fire works begin. Hanging around and fidgeting. The local Press get ready for St Anne to arrive. It's said that she is the Patron Saint of Sailors/Sea. The boys is red and blue seemed to be in control of the youngsters as the procession continued down to the beach after the fire works. St Anne appeared out of the dark. Devotees. St Anne looking resplendent carried by the men in black. The figure is carried into the church.
