19 Feb.....catching up on things
Priory Coombe Circa 1966/7. Rothgar Argent closest on bass, me doing something in the middle and Paul Neto at the far end. finding the pics of the group was fun and quite strange. Trying to remember things.....hard.................the sleazy ones come to mind fairly readily.......not sure anyone wants to know. What else.....................Killer Kartoons........................what little faith some seem to have that they let a couple of silly cartoons freak them out.......or has it been the ignorant whipped up by psycho politicos? Dodgy birds are in France and soon to be here in the UK....................will start checking the Peckham Pond for dead swans. Dick "The Killer" Cheney shot a lawyer flying towards him out of the sun on the ground dressed as a moose called Saddam. Perhaps Dick will be put out to pasture along the Iraq Iranian border.
Small, very small, penis brained vandals
Some small penised brained arseholes decided to dig up the recently put together bowling green and torch the club house. The park and these facilities were completed just before the onset of winter and have never been used. It is just so desperately sad that these fuckers do this. So what are the "issues" that they are dealing with that compels them to destroy things around them. Bad education? Get back to school or go to fucking college. Bad parenting? After 16yrs......stop pointing fingers at others and get a grip. If under 16, go to the social services and get help....it's all there. You don't know how to do that?..............it's more simple than nicking a mobile...dickhead. No money? Go to fucking college or get a job. I am so pissed off with this mindless vandalism.........the bus shelters......they get smashed to pieces..................don't these pricks realize that their mothers/aunts/sisters whatever have to suffer the consequences....................
Brokeback Mountain
Went up town........checked a few things out..............spent some money ........then to the cinema to check out Brokeback Mountain. It reminded me of Africa in the mid-late sixties where choices had to be made under the grotesque burden of state,community and personal ignorance. The consequences of your decisions could also prove fatal.....................nothing changes then! If ever a movie deserved an Oscar........surely this must be it. No tricks, no bullshit no sentimentality....not even the sound track attempted to play emotional................good one.
First week of the New Year
Whewwwwwww.....what timely events to coincide with the calendar. Sharon in Israel, the little ginger cake with a hint of whiskey being pushed out the DimLib box of cookies....what else.....bird flue kills three in Turkey.............colleges go back after the contrived birthday break of the 25th..............and now....even as we talk...............seriously anal administrators/teachers with their heads up their arses ( so ...even if the wanted to relieve themselves couldn't) are puffing themselves up into shinyballs of ignorance to display....................we're watching darlins.....loverly. I am really bored. My arthritis in my right hand is killing me at the moment. The weather outside is desperately cold and incontinent. I need to tidy up, go to gym buy some food as well as some other tasks that I seem unable to conjure up. I might just go out and take some cold pictures....maybe not. Went to friends for dinner last night.....................should have stayed for six mon...
Never thought I would get off on garden tools. Hey........... these are so good looking. Very cool birthday pressie...............listen to me....garden tools cool...getting old...nah...not really...it's the asthetics and craft in something hand made.
