So it happened. We are where we are because we chose to be. Brown like Robert Mugabe cannot fathom defeat/loss so they both try to postpone or reschedule it at the expense of everyone. Their megalomania knows almost no bounds. Ok....so Mugabe has killed thousands of Zimbabweans... Brown has not resorted to that but the mindset seems similar. I would be happy as a taxpayer to pay a halfpenny more in taxes if they would both be generous with themselves and disappear.....go off somewhere with their respective Graces and Saras and leave us in peace. Slow down the pace of testosterone government......give us a proportional election system...which, with good faith and dialogue, would result in strong government...slower paced maybe....but perhaps all the better for it.

"Apartment" May 2010 "Rye Hill Park" may 2010 A thought, after a friend, who like me cycles everywhere.....told me that she was nearly killed by a car driver driving through a red light at the bottom of Peckham Rye. The lights had not just changed... they were plain and simply red allowing...or so one would have thought drivers/cyclists on the cross road to travel safely and freely when the lights were green in their favor. I will support a government that fined drivers at least £4,000.00 for driving through red lights. If they cannot pay, their vehicle should be sold to offset the fine. In addition they should either be put in jail or made to work in cemeteries digging graves as part of community service. another thought: Vehicle drivers using hand held mobile phones while driving should also be fined at least £2,000.00. The authorities should also be able to sell their vehicle to pay the fine if needs be. The community service element they would be required to und
