Re-incarnation seems like the way to go......The Msasa Tree is related to an elephant. I will return as a tree.

Since being here in Harare the thing that strikes me most about the country...is not the slanting lifeless street lights...nor the stories of politicians pockets being as deep as the potholes in the roads....but the trees. I think I am related to them, they are my cousins. Somehow, in this life I ended up human....hence the holding of my mothers hand as she eats her porridge as her decline progresses. What I trust will happen in my next life is......I will return as a Msasa Tree........if that can't be arranged, at least an Olive Tree........or........just to be pretty..........a common Myrtle Bush.

What's with these folk who want to blow themselves up................for what..................these people must surely be desperately deeply malfunctioning narcissists? Back fom Greece

Well, have just returned from Zakynthos or Zante. Apart from a couple of dull weather days ...one at the start and the other at the end.....and a hotel that smelt of dead dogs, babyshit and nicotine stained underwear.....it was a good place to be. We escaped the Kalamaki resort and hotel with a hired car...and with the good sense of Isolde we went down a track to look at a Villa on the beach.....a good ten kilometers from the rooms from hell and with a mountain range in between. What a good move. We met Soula, the widow of Ville Fiore, who was beautiful, charming and deserved the money we paid for the rooms....in fact even more...money that is. From then on it was a daily vist to Zycanthos Town....a wheel around the views...and every second day a 10K run. The food scene...whew.....some desperately bad mistakes....and some gems.
