An exhibition in The Hanover Gallery in Liverpool with most of the paintings given the umbrella title  " I always thought dying was easier than that" . The work had a hint of the burgeoning AIDS crisis at the time. The Audun Gallery in London had one of the first organised exhibitions by young artists where the proceeds of the work sold were donated to AIDS charities.
