Phuuuuuuur...phhhhhew

Not sure what the hell I am doing at the moment but I guess in a day or two things may become clearer...............perhaps.

Well...........I have discovered how to post images and make captions. That's good I think.

We have just returned from Amsterdam reconnecting with a friend who we lost contact with 16 years ago.......it sort of begs the question what sort of friends we were that allowed 16 years to pass............. tell you what... those 16 years just seem like a long weekend.

Lights along the front. The procession emerges out of the the dark having wound it's way down the hill at the back of the "village" Local Lads out on the town. The Fire works begin. Hanging around and fidgeting. The local Press get ready for St Anne to arrive. It's said that she is the Patron Saint of Sailors/Sea. The boys is red and blue seemed to be in control of the youngsters as the procession continued down to the beach after the fire works. St Anne appeared out of the dark. Devotees. St Anne looking resplendent carried by the men in black. The figure is carried into the church.
