Peckham Rye Nanny Freakishness and Mothers wishes!

On the way to Play Tai Chi.

Walking through the Rye Gardens we passed
a young nanny "caring" for two children.

The one she had on a bench near the pram
while the other was a pathway away playing
with a stick...digging the ground...laughing
and having a jolly good 5 year old time
digging the ground.........as one would.

Shrieking the child's name the nanny ran past
and then stopped suddenly at the edge of the path
where it met the grass. She was stuck.

Interspersed with shrieking the child's name she
now commanded that he come to her.

"Paralyzed".... unwilling to walk on the grass
to where he was playing to retrieve him.

The smiling child obeyed.

Within range she ripped him from the "filthy" grass.

Safe on the nice clean tarred path.

She wrenched the "filthy" stick from his hand
...flinging it wide.....and.........continued to shriek.

Not sure why the yelling continued....but hey!

The shrieking grew softer as the distance grew
between us.

I can only conclude that the mother demanded
clean children and the nanny is OCD.
