...perhaps.... this is designing hell!

It was London's Architectural Open Day this weekend. It was pretty difficult to get into most of the gems in the city....all pre booked and over subscribed...so decided to take a look at the newest and largest shopping centre this side of Pluto, which used to be a planet but is now a pebble.

So..where else to go but Westfield in Stratford to admire the architecture for the newest palace to consumerism.

It was amazing....A Stalinist Fordist Shopping Spree Centre. Internationalist Lighting, Air and Shops.........the only thing missing was Ryan Air.


Well done Britain.

Lights along the front. The procession emerges out of the the dark having wound it's way down the hill at the back of the "village" Local Lads out on the town. The Fire works begin. Hanging around and fidgeting. The local Press get ready for St Anne to arrive. It's said that she is the Patron Saint of Sailors/Sea. The boys is red and blue seemed to be in control of the youngsters as the procession continued down to the beach after the fire works. St Anne appeared out of the dark. Devotees. St Anne looking resplendent carried by the men in black. The figure is carried into the church.
